Vintage 50s? Aluminum double sided Bus Stop pole top sign original interior

This beautiful original bus stop sign is double sided with the wording ‘BUS STOP’ embossed on each side.  The sign has a pole attachment on the bottom and would look great in someones man cave or classic car garage.  The sign has some small lettering on the bottom I believe it to say f 89.

I am not sure if it has been repainted or original as this is how I got it. This does nothing to detract, however, and is, in fact, what gives this item its character. The inside is in its original painted finish, which is in good condition.
